Just to let you know I am delighted to tell you that Chris Pinney the former lead guitarist of the Celtic Rock group The Dolmen has agreed to Join myself and Jack. I rate Chris as one of the best guitar players i have listened too and love his work and am over the moon he is joining us.. it is a great move to have such a talent join us a huge boost for Jack and I and will be great at the Tribal dreams Gathering where many people know Chris from his days with the Dolmen. tickets are selling well tickets will be available on the gate. Hi all
Sorry its been so long since i posted on here for you all. by the amount of hits I am delighted to see that you are following whats going on. My next big appearence will be at the Tribal Dreams Gathering at Lodden just outside of Weymouth. this festival is for the Dolmen Grove. tickets now available for a great weekend see www.dolmengrove.co.uk.
I will be joined by my youngest son Jack playing guitar and we will be doing an acoustic set. we are working on all new songs and a new look. I am hoping to go into the recording studio soon to start recording a new album with some new songs written by myself and Jack as well as working on songs written by tony Jameson of the Dolmen who will be porducing my next album. I am interviewing band members. I am looking this autumn to take to the road with a full band. so plase keep looking in at my site. Many thanks for taking the time to look at my profile.
What a great time I had at Lakeside Country Club. Such a warm audience and what a wonderful line up. It was a real honour to share the same stage as such great and talented people like Slim Pickins. He talked back stage about how he had toured with Tex Ritter. an amazing man. talking of great men Bobby Sawyer what a gent. after he finished he spent a lot of time with the fans. nice to see stars from the US helping to keep British Country Music alive. also the Lovely Angie McCoy what a voice. If you ever get the chance to see her show dont miss it,she is a true star. Many thanks to all who came to make it such a great afternoon/evening. If you were not able to make the show. You can catch my part of the show singing " I couldn't leave you if I tried" on you tube.
